We really believe in “out-teaching” our competition. In their fantastic book ReWork, Jason Fried and David Heinemeier Hansson have an entire chapter called “Don’t out-spend, out-teach”. Here’s an excerpt:
Most business focus on selling or servicing, but teaching never even occurs to them…Big companies can afford a Super Bowl ad; you can’t. But you can afford to teach, and that’s something they’ll never do, because big companies are obsessed with secrecy.
Teaching gives us a chance to tell everyone how we do what we do – no secrets. Teaching gives us a chance to meet face-to-face with our users, to listen and laugh, and we love it.
Our workshops cover a variety of topics including web design, best practices, tips & tricks and more! We typically delve into one specific topic in more detail, then open things up for general Q&A – no limits (well, maybe a time limit).
